Iowa’s Jok picked for preseason all-Big Ten
ROSEMOUNT, Ill. – University of Iowa men’s basketball senior guard Peter Jok is one of 10 players selected to the 2016 preseason all-Big?Ten men’s basketball team, as selected by a media voting panel.
Jok was a second-team all-conference honoree as a junior for the Hawkeyes after finishing second on the team in scoring (16.1 points per game) and steals (40) and first in 3-pointers made (80) and free-throw percentage (.852).
Wisconsin’s Nigel Hayes was voted as the Preseason Big Ten Player of the Year.
Also selected to the preseason team alongside Jok were Indiana’s Thomas Bryant and James Blackmon Jr., Wisconsin’s Ethan Happ and Bronson Koenig, Melo Trimble of Maryland, Derrick Walton Jr. of Michigan, Malcolm Hill of Illinois, and Purdue’s Caleb Swanigan.
