Bobcat quartet earn CIML softball honors
Four members of the Marshalltown softball team were given honorable mention honors on the Central Iowa Metropolitan League All-Iowa Conference teams.
Sophomore Madi Finch was given an honorable mention for the third-straight season. Finch finished second on the team with a .457 slugging percentage.
Fellow sophomore Erica Johnson earned her second-straight honorable mention after holding down the catcher spot for the Bobcats most of the year.
Senior McKaylee Dawson made her first appearance on the all-conference teams as an honorable mention. Dawson had 24 strikeouts in 55 2/3 innings pitched in conference play, and she allowed an opponent batting average of .333.
Junior Marina Rosalez earned her first all-conference nod as well as an honorable mention. Rosalez led the team in slugging percentage in conference games with a .379, and she had five doubles.
