Marshalltown Community College men's soccer player Gustavo Leal was named the Iowa Community College Athletic Conference Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 30-Oct. 6.
As a defender, Leal scored two goals on four shots and helped MCC post a 15-0 win against Scott CC and a 6-0 win against Northeast CC.
The Rio de Janeiro native has three goals and one assist in the 2019 season.
