CEDAR FALLS — Northern Iowa football fans are invited to celebrate this year’s spring season with a tailgate event and the annual spring game, both in the UNI-Dome on Friday, April 21.

Both family-friendly events are free. The spring tailgate event kicks off at 5:30 p.m. and will include a kids clinic and a prize drawing. Food and beer will be available for purchase at the concession stands.

UNI’s youngest fans will be treated to a half-hour skills clinic led by Panther student-athletes and coaches beginning at 6 p.m. on the field. The clinic is free, but youth from kindergarten through eighth grade are encouraged to register online.

The spring game will begin at 7 p.m. and feature returning and new student-athletes in a game format to be determined. In addition to hearing from coaches and players of the program, season tickets will be available for purchase or renewal, including information regarding a new seating plan for 2023.
