Marshalltown High School graduates Xander (2022) and Madison (2023) Pickett pose with their scholarship offers from Grand View University in Des Moines, where the siblings both will bowl next school year. Xander bowled for Upper Iowa University in Fayette in his freshman campaign, before the school cut its bowling program. He was a member of three-straight Class 3A state tournament teams for Marshalltown, including the state championship squad of 2021. Madison became the Bobcat girls' team's fourth individual state qualifier in school history when she advanced to the 3A tournament and earned 14th place this winter. Both siblings intend to study sports management at Grand View.
