Audi Crooks

IRVING, Texas — Iowa State’s Audi Crooks has been named the Big 12 women’s basketball Freshman of the Week for the second time in the last three weeks.

The Algona native helped Iowa State to a win over Oklahoma State in Saturday’s conference opener, 76-68. It marked the Cyclones’ seventh consecutive win in a Big 12 opener. Crooks led ISU with 21 points on 9-of-14 shooting to go with seven rebounds.

This season, Crooks is leading NCAA Division I freshmen in field-goal percentage (.672). She leads Iowa State in scoring with 16.5 points per game and is second on the team in rebounds with 6.0 boards per game.
