AMES — Four members of the Iowa State men’s basketball team have entered their names in the transfer portal since the Cyclones’ season ended in the Sweet 16 late Thursday night.

Freshman Omaha Biliew is the most prolific name of the four, though the rookie forward finished the season averaging just 2.4 points and 1.3 rebounds per game.

Biliew was the No. 11 rated prospect out of high school and the highest rated Cyclone recruit ever. Biliew played at three different schools during his prep career, including Dowling Catholic and Waukee, and was invited to Team USA’s U18 training camp in 2002.

The former blue-chip prospect played in just 20 games at Iowa State, and he will have three seasons of eligibility remaining.

Jackson Paveletzke, Jelani Hamilton and Kayden Fish also entered the transfer portal over the weekend.

Starting at $4.38/week.
