IOWA CITY — Six of seven University of Iowa home football games for the 2024 season are officially sold out, the UI Athletics Department announced Thursday.

Hawkeye home games against Illinois State (Aug. 31), Iowa State (Sept. 7), Troy (Sept. 14), Northwestern (Oct. 26), Wisconsin (Nov. 2) and Nebraska (Nov. 29) are sold out. Less than 650 tickets remain for the Oct. 12 game against Washington.

Drake men’s basketball set for Shriners Classic

DES MOINES — ESPN Events has announced the eight-team field competing in the 2024 Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic.

Drake, Florida Atlantic, Miami, Nevada, Oklahoma State, Seton Hall, Vanderbilt and VCU make up the bracket for the annual men’s college basketball tournament to be played on November 21, 22, and 24 at TD Arena in Charleston, S.C.

Matchups, times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
