LE GRAND — Sydney Hull scored 15 points to lead East Marshall girls basketball to a 38-19 season-opening victory over Colo-NESCO at East Marshall High School on Monday.

Ashtyn Wheater added seven points and 10 rebounds and Makayla Hala had five points, four rebounds, two steals and one blocked shot.

The Mustangs had 16 team steals and made eight 3-pointers, including a 4-for-9 effort from Hull beyond the arc. East Marshall led 15-3 at halftime.
