ST. LOUIS — Drake point guard Katie Dinnebier collected her seventh Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Week award, the league announced Monday.

Dinnebier had a historic week as the Bulldogs earned a pair of road wins at Murray State and Belmont. The senior point guard averaged 31.5 points, 7.5 assists, 5.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game while shooting 57% from the floor and 48% from 3-point range.

Dinnebier opened her week with 21 points, seven assists, six rebounds and four steals against Murray State. In Saturday’s win at Belmont, Dinnebier posted a career-high 42 points, including nine made 3s.

Dinnebier is the only player in the country averaging at least 20.0 points (20.8) and 7.0 assists (7.6) per game.
