East Marshall High School graduate Cora Talbert committed to run track and field at Cornell College, an NCAA Division III school in Mount Vernon next year after a senior season that featured two events at the Iowa Co-Ed State Track and Field Championships. Talbert placed 12th in the Class 2A girls’ 100-meter hurdles, and she was a member of the Mustangs’ shuttle hurdle relay team that finished 15th.
