UNI wrestling unveils 2025-26 home schedule

CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa wrestling team has announced dates and opponents for its 2025-26 home schedule, featuring seven home events.

The Panther Train will welcome fans inside the McLeod Center for the first time this fall on Nov. 23 as it hosts North Dakota State in its Big 12 Conference opener. Missouri will come to town on Dec. 14 in conference action, while North Carolina returns to Cedar Falls for the first time since 2017 on Dec. 21.

Following the holidays, UNI resumes competition as the NWCA Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships return to the UNI-Dome on Jan. 9-10, 2026. Last season, UNI dominated the field with commanding victories over Sacred Heart, Ohio, Northern Colorado and South Dakota State en route to winning its first-ever title at the event in a 14-team bracket. Teams for this year’s competition are yet to be announced.

After competing in its first season as a Big 12 member last season, Arizona State will make the journey to Cedar Falls for the first time since 1981 on Jan. 17, 2026. UNI won in Tempe against the Sun Devils last January by a score of 33-10.

UNI will close out its home conference slate on Feb. 13, 2026, against West Virginia, looking to extend its nine-dual winning streak against the Mountaineers. The Panthers close out dual action on Feb. 22 against Wisconsin in non-conference competition.

Starting at $4.38/week.
