IOWA CITY — Lillian Humphries will join the University of Iowa women’s wrestling staff as director of operations, it was announced recently by Hawkeye head coach Clarissa Chun. Humphries joins the Hawkeyes after serving as the head women’s wrestling coach at Huntingdon College in Montgomery, Ala.
“We’re thrilled to welcome Lillian to Iowa,” said Chun. “Her background in women’s wrestling, organizational skills, and passion for the sport make her a perfect fit for our program.”
Humphries has more than 10 years of experience in the sport of women’s wrestling, including the last three seasons helping build the Huntingdon women’s wrestling program from the ground up. She coached three national qualifiers during her tenure.
