IOWA CITY — University of Iowa senior Hannah Stuelke and freshman Addie Deal both earned weekly honors from the Big Ten Conference, as Stuelke was named Player of the Week and Deal grabbed Freshman of the Week honors.

Deal and Stuelke were pivotal pieces for the Hawkeye victories over Oregon and No. 15 Michigan State to improve to 7-0 in conference play.

Against the Ducks, Deal and Stuelke both had 18 points to pace Iowa’s offense to a 74-66 win. Deal became the first freshman Hawkeye since Caitlin Clark (2021) to record 18 points or more against a Big Ten opponent. Stuelke nearly notched a triple-double with 18 points, eight rebounds and a career-high eight assists.

On Sunday, Stuelke led the Hawkeyes with 22 points, nine rebounds and five assists. Deal added eight points and two assists.
