Iowa State’s Tailgate Tour schedule announced

AMES — The 20th annual Cyclone Tailgate Tour returns next month, bringing together Cyclone fans throughout the state of Iowa. This year’s 10-stop tour will take place from May 18-22.

Each Cyclone Tailgate Tour stop is free and open to fans of all ages. These family-friendly events provide fans the unique opportunity to interact with and hear updates from Iowa State head coaches and Director of Athletics Jamie Pollard. Cy and members of the spirit squad will also be in attendance.

While lineups may vary, this year’s tour will feature Pollard, football coach Jimmy Rogers, men’s basketball coach T.J. Otzelberger, women’s basketball coach Bill Fennelly, volleyball coach Christy Johnson-Lynch, Director of Men’s and Women’s Wrestling Kevin Dresser, men’s wrestling coach Brent Metcalf, women’s wrestling coach Alli St. John, the “Voice of the Cyclones” John Walters and, of course, Cy.

The evening stops include a program which begins at 6:30 p.m. for all locations excluding Davenport and Council Bluffs, which will begin at 7 p.m.

May 19 — Cedar Rapids, DoubleTree by Hilton Cedar Rapids – Exhibit Hall A, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

May 20 — Waterloo, SingleSpeed Brewing, Noon-1 p.m.

May 20 — Clear Lake, Surf Ballroom, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

May 21 — Fort Dodge, Opera House at Fort Museum, Noon-1 p.m.

May 21 — Okoboji, The Roof Garden Ballroom at Arnolds Park, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

May 22 — Sioux City, Sioux City Convention Center, Noon-1 p.m.

May 22 — Council Bluffs, Mid-America Center – Convention Center, 6-8 p.m.
