IOWA CITY — University of Iowa guard Dani Carnegie was named to the 2026 United States 3×3 Women’s Nations League Team on Wednesday.

Carnegie and Team USA will compete in the 2026 FIBA 3×3 Nations League Americas Conference July 27 to July 3 in Ã’uñoa, Chile. The team features five other NCAA Division athletes: Sunaja “Nunu” Agara of Stanford, Imari Berry of Louisville, McKinna Brackens of Arizona State, Katie Fiso of Oregon and Tori McKinney of Minnesota.

Last month, Berry, Carnegie, Fiso and McKinney participated in a USA Basketball 3×3 Developmental Camp in Phoenix and the subsequent USA Basketball 3X Showcase in Mesa, Az. Carnegie, Fiso and McKinney took home the 3X Showcase title — competing as Team Phoenix — after defeating Team Tempe in the final, 21-17.

Carnegie transferred to the University of Iowa from Georgia and has two seasons of eligibility remaining. She was a first-team all-Southeastern Conference performer in her sophomore season at Georgia, averaging 17.8 points, 5.2 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game.

Carnegie, a 5-foot-9 guard, was the Atlantic Coast Conference’s Sixth Player of the Year as a freshman at Georgia Tech, and the 2024 Miss Georgia Basketball honoree before that.

Starting at $4.75/week.
