ISU adds Cash Wilcke to women’s wrestling staff

Cash Wilcke

AMES — Cash Wilcke has been added to the Iowa State women’s wrestling staff as Director of Operations/Assistant Coach, head coach Alli St. John announced last week.

Wilcke joins the Cyclones following three seasons as an assistant coach for the men’s and women’s wrestling teams at William Penn. He will handle day-to-day operations and travel logistics for the program along with serving as an assistant coach.

“Cash is someone who brings expertise in multiple areas to our staff,” St. John said. “He has experience handling day-to-day operations for a college team and has a great wrestling mind to help our athletes develop. Cash has a relentless work ethic and I’m excited to welcome him to Ames!”

Prior to William Penn, Wilcke coached one season at Iowa Wesleyan where he led the women’s squad to a seventh-place finish at the 2023 NAIA National Championships.

Wilcke wrestled at the University of Iowa from 2015-20 where he was a three-time NCAA qualifier.

Starting at $4.38/week.
