IOWA CITY — The Iowa vs. Northern Iowa football game scheduled for Sept. 19 in Iowa City is officially sold out. The announcement was made Monday by the UI Athletics Department.

This marks the second game on the Hawkeyes’ home schedule that has been sold out, joining the Cy-Hawk showdown with Iowa State on Sept. 12 inside Kinnick Stadium.

Currently, approximately 1,700 tickets remain for the season opener against Northern Illinois (Sept. 5), 200 for Ohio State (Oct. 3), 2,000 for Wisconsin on Homecoming weekend (Oct. 31), 4,700 for Purdue (Nov. 14), and 2,200 for Nebraska (Nov. 27).

Iowa has sold out 28 consecutive games inside Kinnick Stadium dating back to the start of the 2022 season.
