IOWA CITY — University of Iowa general public season tickets for the 2026-27 men’s wrestling season go on sale Wednesday, July 8, at 9 a.m. through the Iowa Athletics Ticket Office.

The Hawkeyes will host Bellarmine, Iowa State, Michigan State, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State and Oklahoma State at Carver-Hawkeye Arena this winter.

Iowa is 142-16 (.898) at Carver-Hawkeye Arena since Tom Brands took over the program prior to the 2006-07 season. The Hawkeyes are 291-29 (.909) all-time at CHA since moving from the UI Field House in 1983.

Iowa has led the nation in attendance in every season of Brands’ tenure. The Hawkeyes have averaged more than 8,000 fans for 17 consecutive seasons.

UNI wrestling announces home opponents

CEDAR FALLS — The Northern Iowa wrestling team unveiled its home opponents for the 2026-27 season, hosting a total of seven events this winter.

UNI will entertain five duals inside the McLeod Center in addition to the return of the National Wrestling Coaches Association’s Multi-Division National Dual Meet Championships at the UNI-Dome in January.

This coming season will also see the first home dual matchup between UNI and Iowa since the 2010-11 season with the Dual In The Dome.

Times and dates for home events, as well as 2026-27 road competitions will be announced at a later date.

UNI’s home slate will include reigning Big 12 champion Oklahoma State, as well as Oklahoma and Wyoming. Marquee duals include in-state rival Iowa State and Ivy League power Cornell.

The Panthers will welcome in-state rival Iowa to the UNI-Dome for the “Dual In The Dome” on Dec. 11 at 7 p.m.

Season ticket renewals are currently underway through August 28 with new season ticket sales set to follow. Single-event tickets will go on sale at a later date. Season ticket holders will receive special presale access and a 20 percent discount to purchase tickets for the “Dual In The Dome” beginning Wednesday, July 22, as a capacity crowd is anticipated for the event. Tickets to the general public will go on sale Wednesday, Aug. 5.
