The Frank Lewis Glick American Legion Post 46 will host its third annual Al Hoop Memorial Golf Tournament on Saturday, Sept. 19.
The tournament is a four-person best shot 9-hole affair. Cost is $30 per person, which includes the golf, a cart and lunch. Entrants who register prior to Wednesday, Sept. 9, will also receive a complimentary commemorative T-shirt. In order to ensure smooth play, the tournament will be a 10 a.m. shotgun start and capped at the first 20 groups to sign up.
Proceeds from last year's event went to help finance child safety seats through the Marshalltown Police Department and to heat and operate the AL Hoop Hitting Facility at the Marshalltown Little League complex.
Registration forms are available at the Legion Pro Shop and all registrations must be submitted to the Legion Pro Shop.
