AMES -- Iowa State has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 women's basketball season.
The schedule is highlighted by three games against in-state rivals and three contests against 2026 NCAA Tournament teams. Overall, ISU will host one exhibition and nine regular-season games in Hilton Coliseum as part of the non-conference schedule.
The Cyclones will host an exhibition contest with Upper Iowa on Oct. 28 prior to the regular season opener against Grambling State on Nov. 2. The homestand continues for two more weeks, with contests against Nicholls State (Nov. 5), Eastern Illinois (Nov. 8), Howard (Nov. 12) and Illinois-Chicago (Nov. 15).
Iowa State takes its first road trip on Nov. 18 to face UNI, its first in-state foe of the season. The Cyclones return to Hilton Coliseum on Nov. 22 to host Drake.
Feast Week sends Iowa State to The Bahamas for the 2026 Baha Mar Hoops Nassau Championship. ISU will take on Belmont on Friday, Nov. 27, before facing USC on Sunday, Nov. 29. The Trojans were a 2025 NCAA second-round participant.
The Cyclones return to Ames for a pair of contests with Norfolk State (Dec. 1) and Loyola (Dec. 6). The Iowa Corn Cy-Hawk Series renews in Iowa City on Dec. 9. ISU will close out the non-conference season at Hilton Coliseum on Dec. 13 against Chicago State.
