The West Marshall football team made itself right at home at Franklin Field on Friday night, finishing off winless Panorama in a 62-0 shellacking in Class 1A District 7 play.
The Trojans (4-2, 3-0) remained unbeaten in league action by pummeling the Panthers at the point of attack. Panorama (0-7, 0-3) gained just 65 yards of total offense and turned the ball over three times in suffering the program's 13th consecutive defeat.
West Marshall set up next week's showdown for the district crown with Interstate 35 (5-1, 3-0) by spreading the wealth against Panorama. Seven different players scored touchdowns for the Trojans.
Senior Wilson Buckley was the top point-getter for West Marshall, scoring on a 63-yard pass and a 45-yard interception return for touchdown. He also went 8-for-9 on point-after kicks.
West Marshall quarterback Blayk Hart was 3-for-6 passing for 101 yards with one touchdown, and he rushed eight times for 95 yards and another score. Sophomore tailback Turner DeRossett was the leading rusher, carrying eight times for 118 yards and two TDs including a 71-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.
Drake Whitaker, Joe Kielman, Beckham DeSotel and Jacob Dare each had a touchdown run as well for West Marshall, which amassed 485 yards of total offense.
The Trojans travel to Truro to face I-35 on Friday night before closing the regular season at home against West Central Valley.
