ISU women announce non-league schedule

TIMES-REPUBLICAN AMES — Iowa State has announced its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 women’s basketball season. The schedule is highlighted by three games against in-state rivals and three contests against 2026 NCAA Tournament teams. Overall, ISU will host one exhibition and nine regular-season games in Hilton Coliseum as part of the non-conference schedule. The Cyclones will host an exhibition contest with Upper Iowa on Oct. 28 prior to the regular season opener against Grambling State on Nov. 2. The host Tigers took Monday’s NICL West Division match from East Marshall in four sets, prevailing 25-16, 24-26, 25-17, 25-12. 59th annual Tiger Days Golf Outing set for Oct. 9

Marshalltown Community College has announced its 59th Annual Tiger Days Golf Outing will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at the American Legion Memorial Golf Course. All proceeds from the tournament will directly benefit the MCC men’s and women’s basketball programs. The event will follow a four-person scramble format, kicking off with player registration and a complimentary light lunch provided at 11 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at noon.
