• Alex Ray Floyd made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on March 4.

• Ryan Heath Chaplin made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Chaplin is being held without bond.

• Alexandria Marie Shadden made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Scott Hunter is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 23. Bond is set at $5,000 cash or surety. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Eric Devon Brown made an initial appearance on a assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 23. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Terry James Angle made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Angle pleaded guilty and the fine is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354.

• On Monday, Feb. 12, Hosie Laws, 37, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-second offense-marijuana.

• On Monday, Feb. 12, Jerry Cripps, 47, was arrested for theft-second degree-shoplifting.

• On Monday, Feb. 12, Alexandria Shadden, 27, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense and possession of drug paraphernalia.
