Bonnie Bower was welcomed to her eternal home by her family and friends on April 12, 2026. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 20th at Kruse-Phillips Funeral Home in Tama, IA from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, April 20th in the chapel at the Iowa Veteran’s Home in Marshalltown. Jack Menter

Jack Menter, of Marshalltown, died on April 8th, 2026, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. He passed peacefully surrounded by his wife Rachel and son Jason. Jack is survived by wife Rachel; son Jason (Dani) Menter; two grandchildren and granddog. He is also survived by his siblings: Chris Elliott, Gary (Valerie) Menter, Peg Harwell and Shelly (Russ) Dall. Per Jack’s wishes, no formal service will be held. The Cremation Society of Iowa is handling arrangements, and the family will host a celebration of life at a later date.
