Lyle Francis White, 93, of Tama, passed away Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Birkwood Village in Toledo with his family at his side under the care of Iowa River Hospice. A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, January 21, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tama with Pastor Warren Riley officiating with Military Honors. Gary Dean Weede passed away peacefully at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames, Iowa, on Sunday, December 14, 2025. He was born to Dean and Hilma Weede in Stanwood, Iowa. Graduating in 1956 from Mckinley High School, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, he went on to Iowa State University. In 1958 he married his high school sweetheart, Jannes Teply. He completed his Bachelor, Masters, and Doctorate at ISU. He taught there until 1970 when he moved on to Illinois State University.
