Carroll and Kathy (Goecke) Snider were married on July 25, 1964 at First Methodist Church in Marshalltown. They have resided most of their lives on a farm in rural Albion.

They are the parents of Steve (Kami) Snider, of rural Bondurant, and Heidi, of West Des Moines. They have two grandchildren, Ryan and Emma Snider.

The family is planning a tropical vacation to celebrate next winter.
