Childhood sweethearts Alan and Pat (Harmon) Schiebel celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday. The couple was married at the Conrad United Methodist Church on June 20, 1965. They have two children Lynnly and Erin.

Lyn is married to Jim Evans. They live in Iowa Falls with their three children Zachary, Scott and Gabrielle. Erin is married to Dale Hoffmann and lives in Altoona.

The couple will be celebrating with family next weekend.
