Shirley Rae Naylor will celebrate her 90th birthday on July 20. Naylor was born in 1926. Her mother, Leah Brooks died shortly after her birth and she had the good fortune of being raised by Robert and Stella Brothers from infancy. Naylor graduated from Green Mountain High School and has lived most of her life in the Marshalltown area.

She has been married to Fred Naylor for 70 years and is the Mother of five. She has 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
