Patrick and April (Mayer) Acton, of Gladbrook, will be celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary. Pat and April were married at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Anamosa on Aug. 7, 1976.

They have three children: Erica (Cory) Harms, of Clear Lake; Tara (William Gregory) Acton, of Cedar Rapids; and Brennan, of Cedar Falls; and one grandson, Lucas Gregory.
