Chapter LT members view eclipse
P.E.O. Chapter LT met Monday at the Fisher Community Center. Members gathered in the parking lot to view the solar eclipse. We enjoyed sharing the experience. Several brought the dark glasses and others made viewing boxes which were shared.
The meeting was opened in due form by President Gina Ruddock. Eileen Sudenga gave the devotions. Nineteen members and one guest answered roll call.
Lori Johnson was elected and installed as Corresponding Secretary due to the resignation of the previous secretary.
Miriam Koenig is registered as a delegate for the International Convention in Charlotte N.C.
Amy Stahlin thanked the hostess Sally Duke and Tea Committee Beverly Hinshaw and Carole Permar.
Social Committee Chairman Sandra Walters explained the Sept. 18 meeting will be a 12:30 p.m. luncheon at Binford House followed by a style show by Willard’s Fur and Fashion. Reservations are due by Sept. 7.
Visitor, Mary Lou Wheeler expressed her pleasure meeting with us.
Dorien Putman extended birthday greeting to our August Birthday person Aloah Welp and September Birthday members Amy Peterson, Lori Johnson, Marilyn Dodd and Joan Gerbo.
