VFW Auxiliary holds May meeting

The May 20 meeting of the VFW Auxiliary Unit 839 was held at the Post Home with 10 members in attendance. Theresa Shepherd opened the meeting at 6:30 p.m. followed by the opening ceremonies. Chaplain Donna Mitchem led the opening prayer. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited by Patriotic Instructor Kay Bell. Treasurer Deb Miller gave the treasurer report. Diane Welch reported she had received 538 coupons. Deloris Clayton said that Iowa Veterans home Bingo will be at 9;30 a.m. on May 23.
