Court — Wednesday

• Jinub D. Reath made an initial appearance on a warrant charging him with two counts of pre-trial release violation, on a warrant for failure to appear for a hearing on a driving while revoked charge and on a warrant for failure to appear for an arraignment hearing charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. All further hearings will be rescheduled by the District Associate Court. Reath is being held without bond.

• Ambria Elizabeth Price made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 19. Bond is set at $2,000 cash or surety.

• Anthony Joseph Carty made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Krystian William Gonzalez made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Court Judge and the Department of Correctional Services. Gonzalez is being held without bond.

• Zachary Lee Bowers made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Emily Frances Youngbear Brown made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an open container charge and a littering charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 30. Youngbear Brown is released on her promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• Kevin Kyle Kroeger made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 21 in Magistrate Court.

• David Murindwa Gapunwa made an initial appearance through a Swahili interpreter on a public intoxication charge. Gapunwa pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75, due within 30 days.

• Jeramy Lee Brown made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a hearing charge. Christian Stickrod is appointed as counsel. The next hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 29. Brown is released on his promise to appear.

• Douglas Regin Thomas made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled at 1 p.m. on July 30. Thomas is released on his promise to appear. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.

• A 16-year-old male made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge. He pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Tasia Breeann Casteel made an initial appearance on a prohibited use of fireworks charge. Casteel pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Larry Darnell Crawford made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Crawford pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Kayla Mae Heatherington made an initial appearance on a prohibited use of fireworks charge. Heatherington pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Shawn Michael Menne made an initial appearance on a prohibited use of fireworks charge. Menne pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Joshua John Joseph Morgan made an initial appearance on a prohibited use of fireworks charge. Morgan pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with an $87.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $397.50, due within 30 days.

• Susan Kim Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Rodriguez pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge, a $125 law enforcement initiative surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $272.75, due within 30 days.

• Ivan Rivas Sarabia made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. Sarabia pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Aug 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Richard Scott Welch made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 14 in Magistrate Court.

• Nykeisha Antoinette Thomas made an initial appearance on a striking an unattended vehicle charge and a no insurance-accident charge. Thomas pleaded guilty to both charges. On the striking an unattended vehicle the fine is $65 with a $22.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $147.75. The fine on the no insurance charge is $500 with a $175 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $735. All payments are due within 30 days.
