Court — Friday

• Bradley Michael Starn made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge and a domestic abuse assault charge and a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 3. Bond is set at $2,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party. The probation violation hearing will be set by the District Associate Court. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. Starn is being held without bond.

• Mustafa Fard Muhammad made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance charge, a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge and a a keeping a premises or vehicle for the use or sale of drugs charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 3. Bond is set at $5,000 cash only.

• Jerome Lang made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. Lang pleaded guilty and the fine is $200 with a $70 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $330, due within 30 days.

• Daniel Scates made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury charge. The Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on April 3. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.
