Court — Tuesday
• Rogelio Sanchez Sanchez made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. Sanchez Sanchez will hire Tyler Heeren as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 3. Sanchez Sanchez is released on his promise to appear.
• Ismat Abdall Hassan made an initial appearance on a will injury charge and a domestic abuse charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 13. Bond is set at $20,000 cash only. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Todd Lee Stabenow made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge and a disorderly conduct charge. Stabenow pleaded not guilty and a pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on April 1 in Magistrate Court.
• Alexander Douglas Cadwell failed to make an initial appearance on a driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway charge. The court found Cadwell guilty and the fine is $100 with a surcharge of $0 and court costs of $360 for a total of $500, due within 30 days.
• James Lin Wells made an initial appearance on a harassment-first degree. Wells will hire Jeff Hazen as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on March 13. Wells is released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
• Tony Adam Harris Jr. made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a improper brake light charge. Harris pleaded guilty to both charges. On the no insurance charge the fine is $250 with a $87.50 surcharge and $60 on court costs for a total of $397.50. The fine on the improper brake light is $30 with a $10.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $100.50. All payments are due within 30 days.
