Court — Wednesday

• Lucas Michael Catherwood made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge, an operating without owner’s consent charge and a driving under suspension charge. Ray Starks was appointed as counsel on the parole violation. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Catherwood is being held without bond.

On the two new charges, the public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sept. 4. Bond is set at $2,300 cash or surety.

• Dennis Duane Armstrong II made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge. Michael Marquess filed an appearance as counsel. The preliminary hearing was waived. Bond will continue as posted.

• Christopher Spatgen made an initial appearance on a simple assault charge. Tyler Heeren was appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Jose ignacio Lizarde Ibarra made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Lizarde Ibarra pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $134. 75, due within 30 days.

• Jose De Jesus Medina Cervantes made an initial appearance on two counts of violation of pre-trial release. Pre-trial release was revoked. Bond is set at $1,000 cash only.

• Seger Tyrone Brown made an initial appearance on a probation violation charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Court. Brown is being held without bond.

• Lewis Delbert Randolph made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. The contempt hearing is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 8. Randolph was released with supervision through the Department of Correctional Services and is to report to the adult probation office within 48 hours to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Robert Joseph Menter made an initial appearance on a prohibited fireworks charge. Menter pleaded guilty and the fine is $65 with a $9.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $134.75, due within 30 days.

• Darrell Desha Jordan made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge and an interference with official acts charge. Tyler Heeren is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Susan Sumpter made an initial appearance on a permitting the use of fireworks charge. Melissa Nine appeared as counsel. The pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Andrew Deshon Stutts made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. Stutts pleaded guilty and the fine is $215 with a $80.25 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $355.25, due within 30 days.
