• Mark Christopher Judge made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault charge, a keeping a premises or vehicle for the purpose of controlled substance violation charge, a possession of marijuana-second offense charge, an interference with official acts charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 9. Judge is released withsupervision through the Department of Correctional Service and is to report to the adult probation office by 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 21 to sign a pre-trial release agreement. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Mohrgon Sage Wells Marquez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Wells Marquez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Liliana Fuentes Nunez made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Fuentes Nunez pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Victoria Dawn Estrada made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Estrada pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Steven James Hayden made an initial appearance on operating while under the influence-first offense charge, an eluding charge and a interference with official acts charge. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 6. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 30 days.

• On Monday, a theft from a motor vehicle was reported to the Marshalltown Police Station.

• On Tuesday, Angela Dunbar, 20, was arrested for driving under suspension.

• On Monday, Mark Judge, 35, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance-marijuana-second offense, keeping a premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation and domestic abuse assault display or use of weapon — first offense.

• On Monday, Jody Gasca, 45, was arrested for driving while barred.

Arrests

• On Monday, Ben Keller, 40, of Liscomb, was arrested by Marshall County authorities on a Grundy County warrant charging him with violation of a protective order. Keller posted bond and was released.

Accidents

• On Saturday, a vehicle driven by Audrey Delagardelle, 19, of Evansdale, was eastbound on Highway 20 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Delagardelle vehicle was estimated at $4,000.
