Court — Thursday

• Falon Tari Kapayou made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a court proceeding charge. Joel Waters is appointed as counsel. The next court proceeding will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued by the protected party.

• Richard Wayne Samora made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a hearing charge and violations of pre-trial release charge. Taylor Reichardt will continue as counsel. The next hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety.

• Christian Brandon Mason made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Mason pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50, due within 30 days.

• Bryce Murell Griffin made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Nov. 18 in Magistrate Court.

• Samuel David Kruger made an initial appearance on a speeding charge. Kruger pleaded guilty and the fine is $150 with a $22.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $227.50, due within 30 days.

• Mark Marvin Benda made an initial appearance on a public urination charge. Benda pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75, due within 30 days.

• Jacob Patrick Schultz made an initial appearance on two counts of a driving under suspension charge and a trespass charge. Schultz pleaded guilty to all charges. The fines on the two driving under suspension charges are $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50 on each charge. The fine on the trespass charge is $260 with a $39 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $354. All payments are due within 30 days.

• Savanna Keyona Danielle Ruffin made an initial appearance on a operating while under the influence-second offense charge. Raymond Starks is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Nov. 17. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court within 60 days.
