• Alec Robert Krueger made an initial appearance on an assault causing bodily injury or mental illness charge. Arch Wilson is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Sept. 8.
• Shane Dale Sizemore made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for an arraignment charge. The arraignment hearing will be rescheduled by District Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash.
• Luis Javier Mendoza Soto made an initial appearance on a failure to maintain registration plate charge, a driving under suspension charge, an interference with official acts charge, two counts of a failure to obey a stop sign charge and a speeding charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 27 in Magistrate Court.
Mendoza Soto also appeared on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Thomas Crabb will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Yenni Beatriz Magana made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Sept. 8.
• Marleny Patricia Marin Magana made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9 a.m. on Sept. 8.

Arrests
• On Thursday, Aug. 17, Luis Mendoza Soto, 29, was arrested for driving while license is denied, canceled, revoked or suspended, failure to obey a stop sign, interference with official acts, operating a non-registered vehicle, speeding, contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order and on a warrant.
• On Thursday, Aug. 17, Shane Sizemore, 41, was arrested on a warrant.
• On Thursday, Aug. 17, Deng Wol, 38, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
• On Thursday, Aug. 17, Phylicia Quincy, 32, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.
