• Scott William Haugan made an initial appearance on a tampering with records charge and a records filed with intent to harass or defraud-first offense charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 16.

• Karime Monserrat Fuentes made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge, a dark windows/windshield charge and an operating without a registration card charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 18 in Magistrate Court.

• Lisbeth Evelyn Avila Leon made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Avila Leon pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Bret Joseph Ryan made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-third or subsequent offense charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 27. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Ernest Raymond Nipper made an initial appearance on a operating a non-registered vehicle charge. Nipper pleaded guilty and the fine is $70 with a $10.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.

• Terry Lee Holubar made an initial appearance on a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Holubar pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Kathrine Michelle Phillips failed to appear on a operating a non-registered vehicle charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $70 with a $10.50 and $55 in court costs for a total of $135.50.
