• Pasian Peggy Suri Alas made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and a no insurance charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Ramiro Castruita Valdez made an initial appearance on a no insurance charge and a driving under suspension charge. Castruita Valdez pleaded guilty to both charges. The fine on the no insurance charge is $325 with a $48.75 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $428.75. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Steven James Hayden made an initial appearance on a trespass-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 16 in Magistrate Court.

• Gabriel Cruz Solorio Salazar made an initial appearance on a possession of marijuana-first offense charge, a throwing missiles charge and a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 11. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Austin Gene Jordan made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jeff Hazen is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Santiago Zambrano failed to appear on a speeding charge and the court found him guilty. The fine i 55 with a $8.25 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $123.25.

• Christian Richard Martinez made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-second offense charge and a domestic abuse assault-strangulation with bodily injury charge. Aaron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 2. Bond is set at $7,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.
