• Jacob Allen Wayne Roop, made an initial appearance on an eluding charge, a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, a keeping a vehicle or residence controlled substance violation charge, a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, a driving under suspension charge, a reckless driving charge, a speeding charge and a failure to obey a traffic control device charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 11. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

Roop was also seen on a parole violation charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Roop is being held without bond.

• James Michael Angel Flores made an initial appearance on a driving while license is denied charge, a no insurance charge and a speeding charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 22.

• Kendra Christine Savage made an initial appearance on a failure to affix a drug tax stamp charge and a possession of methamphetamine-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on July 22. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Clarence Castile Jr. made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge and an assault charge. Castile pleaded guilty to both charges and the fine is $210 with a $31.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $301.50.

• Jacob Ryan Wagner made an initial appearance on an exploding consumer fireworks that are prohibited charge. Wagner pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• On Tuesday, July 1, Jacob Roop, 28, was arrested for speeding, reckless driving, prohibited acts by registrant – unauthorized manufacture or distribution of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance-second offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to obey a traffic control device, eluding while exceeding the speed limit by 25 mph or more and driving under suspension.
