• Andrew Morgan Lytton made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing will be scheduled by the District Associate Court. Lytton is being held without bond.
• Larry Darnell Crawford made an initial appearance on a parole violation charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Crawford is being held without bond.
• Joshua Lee Bailey made an initial appearance on a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Brian Mercy is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 22. Bond is set at $6,500 in defendant’s name only. The no-contact order remains in effect for the protected party.
• Tammy Sue Oden made an initial appearance on a violation of a controlled substance charge and a keeping a premises for the purpose of using or selling controlled substances charges. Aron Vaughn is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 22. Bond is set at $10,500 in defendant’s name only.

• On Wednesday, Aug. 13, Lexi Lynch, 26, was arrested for assault causing bodily injury or mental illness-no intent and on a warrant.
• On Wednesday, Aug. 13, Joshua Bailey, 26, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.
• On Wednesday, Aug. 13, Tammy Oden, 61, was arrested for maintaining a drug house or vehicle and intent to manufacture or deliver heroin.

• On Wednesday, Aug. 13, Andrew Lytton, 28, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of probation.
• On Wednesday, Aug. 13, Larry Crawford, 56, was arrested on a warrant charging him with violation of parole.
Accidents
• On Wednesday, Aug. 6, a motorcycle driven by Russell Edwin Mason, 53, of Albion, was southbound on Marsh Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Mason motorcycle was estimated at $1,500.
• On Tuesday, Aug. 5, a Jeep driven by Ricky Ray Elias Benson, 33, of Montour, was eastbound on Highway 30 from Zeller Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Benson Jeep was estimated at $5,000.
• On Sunday, Aug. 3, an SUV driven by Yvenet Joseph, 29, of Cedar Rapids, was eastbound on Highway 30 near Coppock Park Road when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Joseph SUV was estimated at $7,500.
• On Wednesday, July 30, a car driven by Patricia Ann Klaas, 63, of Marshalltown, was westbound on Main Street Road when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Klaas car was estimated at $7,000.
• On Monday, July 21, a car driven by Joshua Matthew Portales Jr., 20, of Gladbrook, was eastbound on 190th Street when the driver spotted a deer crossing the road and swerved to miss the deer veering into the westbound lane and colliding with the drivers side of a passenger van driven by Christin Marie Branon, 43, of Clemons, causing it to enter the ditch where it came to rest on its side. The Portales car continued on until coming to rest in the north ditch. No injuries were reported. Portales was cited for failure to maintain control, driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway and no insurance-accident. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $2,000 each.
