• Johnathan Cabral Rodriguez made an initial appearance on a voluntary absence from custody charge and a violation of parole charge. In the voluntary absence charge, the public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 2. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel on the violation of parole charge. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Rodriguez is being held without bond.

• Eduar Cristobal Rodriquez made an initial appearance on a public intoxication charge. Rodriquez pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Alan Herman Bonin made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent-impeding the flow of blood or air charge. Patrick Peters is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 2. Bond is set at $10,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• William Lester Jones made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jones pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Anne Sarah Rutledge made an initial appearance on a theft-fourth degree charge and a contributing to the delinquency of a minor charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 10.

• Carla Castellanos failed to appear on a driving under suspension charge and a speeding charge and the court found her guilty on both charges. The fine on the driving under suspension is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50. The fine on the speeding charge is $30 with a $4.50 surcharge and $55 in court costs for a total of $89.50.

• Caleb Andrew Hinkle made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. The public defender’s office is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 10. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• On Saturday, Sept. 20, Ronnie Menter, 38, was arrested for theft-third degree-possession of stolen property.

• On Friday, Sept. 19, Ronnie Menter, 38, was arrested for possession of a firearm or offensive weapon by domestic abuse offender and assault with a dangerous weapon.

• On Friday, Sept. 19, Rachel Smith, 34, was arrested for possession of cannabidiol-first offense and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Friday, Sept. 19, Shannon Waltemeyer, 28, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• On Saturday, Sept. 20, Jack Edwards, 38, was arrested for interference with official acts and assault causing bodily injury or mental illness-no intent.
