• On Wednesday, Sept. 3, Dwanna Engle, 54, was arrested for theft-fifth degree.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 3, Robert Tavarez Gomez, 29, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 3, Ricardo Palmarez Jr.,43, was arrested for contempt of court/violation of a no-contact order.

Accidents

• On Saturday, Aug. 30, a pickup driven by Bradley Ronald Buckley, 64, of Steamboat Rock, was northbound on Marsh Avenue when it struck a deer that entered the roadway from the west ditch. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Buckley pickup was estimated at $5,000.

• On Friday, Aug. 29, a pickup driven by Theresa Jo Minich, 59, of Conway, Ark., was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Minich pickup was estimated at $6,500.
