• Kristopher Scott Smith made an initial appearance on a violation of parole charge. Mark Torche is appointed as counsel. The parole revocation hearing will be scheduled by the Administrative Law Judge. Smith is being held without bond.

• Connor Nicholas Jessen made an initial appearance on eight counts of a violation of a no-contact/contempt of court charge. Julia Cutler is appointed as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 4. Bond is set at $8,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Angel Dominic Vasquez made an initial appearance on a robbery-first degree charge, an attempted murder charge, a going armed with intent charge, a carrying weapons on school grounds charge, a use of a dangerous weapon in the commission of a crime charge, a theft-fifth degree charge and a criminal mischief-fifth degree charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 6. Bond is set at $75,000 cash.

• Keith Marvin Nugent made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-first offense charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 16. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.
