Public can give ideas on downtown masterplan

The city is kicking off several days of planning with a charrette planning process focused on the the Central Business District masterplan. Find a time to join in and provide input as part of this important plan.

Wednesday

The Downtown Marshalltown Planning Charrette begins with 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday at Elim Lutheran Church, 302 W. Church St.

Thursday

The Design Studio is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 10 W. State St. Committee Meeting No. 2 is from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday in City Hall Council Chambers.

Friday

The Charrette Gallery is open to the public from 9 a.m to 5 p.m. on Friday in the City Hall Council Chambers. The Design Studio is closed for all-day work sessions.

Saturday

The Charrette Gallery is open to the public from 9 a.m. to noon in the City Hall Council Chambers. The Community Meeting No. 2 is from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.
