STATE CENTER – Chris A. Uitermark of State Center is charged with domestic abuse assault after an incident late last week, according court records.

The criminal complaint on file alleges Uitermark assaulted a significant other by striking the person on the left eye, leaving a bruise.

He is being held in Marshall County Jail on $1,000 cash-only bond and his preliminary court appearance is set for 1 p.m. Aug. 23 at the Max Building, 101 S. First Ave.
