Man arrested for burglary
Zachary Ryan Nulph, 31, Des Moines, was arrested by a Marshall County Sheriff’s Office deputy on a warrant charging him with two counts of second degree burglary and taken to jail stemming from an incident in June according to court records.
Second degree burglary is a Class C felony.
Nulph was also charged with fifth degree criminal mischief and contempt, resulting from violation of a no contact order.
Nulph entered the victim’s home by climbing through a window of a local residence in the 300 block of North 14th Avenue. Nulph also allegedly damaged a screen door and broke another door during the incident.
At his initial appearance Wednesday, a magistrate ordered Nulph held on $10,000 cash or surety bond, appointed the defendant a public defender and also issued a no contact order to protect the victim.
