Journey Church has been attempting to book Jordan Feliz for a concert for the last few years, and the time has finally come. The prominent Christian singer will perform at the church on Dec. 4 on the second stop of his first ever Christmas tour. Feliz has also played other noteworthy tours such as Winter Jam Spectacular and The Rock and Worship Roadshow. Feliz specializes in a pop/rock style of religious music with an appeal to a wide range of audiences.

Journey Church Event Planner Tyler Goings is enthusiastic about the upcoming event, anticipating that Feliz’s uplifting and upbeat music will bring joy to the Marshalltown community.

“I believe his music is what we need as a nation right now,” Goings said.

With many individuals still recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic, Goings feels the concert is a great way to remind people there are still reasons to remain optimistic.

“We really believe the message Jordan will provide will give people hope,” Goings said.

The concert will start at 6:30 p.m. and run until 9 p.m. on Sat. Dec. 4. The Journey Church, is located at 700 E. Olive St. in Marshalltown.

General admission tickets are priced at $25 apiece, and the doors will open at 6 p.m. VIP tickets are priced at $35 a piece, and for those who purchase a VIP ticket, the doors open at 5 p.m. Included with the VIP ticket cost is a meet and greet with Feliz at 5:15 p.m. The meet and greet will be the only opportunity to talk with Jordan or get his autograph during the event.

Journey Church currently has a special deal on tickets right now allowing concertgoers to buy four general admission tickets and get one free. Tickets are available at iTickets.com, Journey Church and the Stepping Stones Christian Bookstore.
